Local Plan 2

As part of the government’s planning requirements London Borough of Waltham Forest (LBWF) prepared Local Plan 2 (LP2) to show sites where the borough’s new housing could be located.

DADRA responded to the latest round of consultations in October 2024 by considering that the proposed 350 additional homes at the Kings Head Hill/Sewardstone Road junction were excessive and that they could not be supported by the infrastructure – especially public transport, as these homes would not have parking spaces.

LP2 and all the consultation submissions have now (January 2025) been submitted for examination by the government’s inspectors – a process that will take many weeks.

DADRA will provide further updates when there is further news.
