Upcoming DADRA Activities 2025
Friday Socials. Come and join us every other Friday 2pm – 4pm in the Scout Hall at the top of Hawkwood Crescent for good company, conversation, tea/coffee and biscuits as well as games, crafts and book swaps. ALL ARE WELCOME !! Dates until the end of the year are: 21 November and 5 December. On Friday 19th December don’t miss our annual Christmas Social.

Wednesday Walks
We normally meet at the top of Epping Way at 11am but sometimes elsewhere (and the meet time may vary a little) – this allows us to walk different routes.
Dates include: 12th and 26th November, 10th and 24th December, 7th and 21st January.
Pleasant walks into the forest and around the area. Come and join in. Walks last around one and a half hours.

Epping Forest Brambly Hedge Trail
The Epping Forest Brambly Hedge Trail is now officially open. The Trail starts at the Epping Forest Visitor Centre and follows the path leading to, and all around Connaught Water.
Along the Trail you will find 17 carved oak sculptures of characters from the Brambly Hedge books by Jill Barklem. Jill lived locally to Epping Forest and drew inspiration for the enchanting world of Brambly Hedge from the trees and hedgerows in this area. More information is available in the Visitor Centre.
